FOSDEM and its gaggle of colocated events, meetups and more is upon us! FOSDEM is regularly one of my favorite events of the year to attend and support. Mostly for my own benefit, here’s what’s on and interesting in the data space across the week across the data engineering and cloud computing spaces?

A preamble: the most exclusive event I’ve been to A couple of years ago, I sat in a hotel suite in Napa Valley, California. The suite was one of 200 surrounding a golf corse in the Marin County highlands, and nearly the entire resort had been rented out for the Linux Foundation’s Open Source Leadership Summmit , as it was every other year, when the summit wasn’t being held in Aspen....

There are lots of instances where capturing a screenshot with the full window border is preferable. They look clean and professional in presentations, for example, especially when the screenshot is on a white background....
